Howdy!

Thanks to each and every one of you who made the second year of 12th Man On Campus such a huge success in 2005-06. If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on year one, there's never been a better time to jump on board.

We were blown away at the support from more than 1,000 students who were a part of the 12th Man Foundation this year. But that was just the beginning. This year, we are going to become the largest student organization at Texas A&M and provide a model for athletic departments across the country. Plus, there are several changes that we are making for next year that we couldn’t be more excited about.

WHAT'S NOT CHANGING:
When you join, you’re still going to get a memers-only T-shirt, towel and decal. You’re still going to get advanced ticket sales to the road games. We will still have advanced ticket sales for road games, and we’re still going to have special events with coaches and athletes.

WHAT IS CHANGING:
This year we’re going to have even more of those events each and every month, as well as several road trips throughout the year.

But the biggest change of all is the new 12th Man On Campus Student Executive Board. For those of you who love Aggie athletics and are looking for “the other education,” this is for you.

Being a part of our executive board will offer you an incredible opportunity to gain valuable leadership experience while having fun at the same time. You’ll have an opportunity to plan road trips and special events, while gaining an understanding of how the Athletic Department and the 12th Man Foundation operate on a daily basis. If you are a talented writer, you may also be able to contribute to 12th Man Magazine On Campus.

For those of you who are thinking about persuing a career in the sport industry, this is an opportunity that you cannot afford to pass up.
