Cypress, Texas
Spouse: Karen

Steve Morris earned his BBA from Texas Tech in 1974. He is President of Morris and Company, a private investment company located in Cypress. Upon graduation, Steve obtained his CPA license and spent the early years of his career with the international accounting firm of Ernst & Young. He later served as Chief Financial Officer of a private oil and gas company, ultimately purchasing the company. He used proceeds from the sale of this company to launch his private investment company. Steve presently serves as a director of several companies in the banking and energy industries, both public and private. He also sits on the board of a non-profit entity, as well as serving as an elder in his church.

A lifelong Aggie fan, Steve became a proud member of the 12th Man Foundation when his daughter, Kelli, enrolled at Texas A&M as a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of 2005. He served as Co-Chair of the fundraising campaign for Blue Bell Park, of which he and his wife were lead donors.

A native of Midland, Steve resides in Cypress with his wife, Karen. They have four daughters: Amy, Natalie, Nicole and Kelli; and a son, Kelsey. They also have 11 grandchildren: Sam, Ashleigh, Olivia, Kayla, Aden, Cooper, Collison, Zoey, Julianna, Ainsley and Dickson.

"We want Texas A&M to have the best programs across the board and have programs we can all be proud of.

It's a real pleasure for us to do this, because I think back about all the support Aggies have given me. No one accomplishes everything in life by themselves, and A&M and the Aggie network have definitely been there for me throughout my life."
