MAJOR GIFTS GROUP |
The Texas A&M athletics program has brought honor and distinction to our University for many years. Paramount to the growth of our program during the past fifty years has been the generosity of 12th Man Foundation donors. While we are proud of our history, we still have not reached our full potential.
“If you look at the Big 12, we still don’t spend as much as many of the teams we compete against in all sports. I think that Aggies are beginning to step up to the plate and understand that you can’t have a conference or nationally competitive athletic program without significant resources,” President Dr. Robert Gates said.
There are many ways for you to support the Aggie athletics through the 12th Man Foundation's major giving programs. Gifts to help fund capital projects, endow an athletic scholarship, and/or planned gifts serve as difference makers for Aggie athletics. |

MAJOR GIVING OPPORTUNITIES |
Major Gifts: One of the key components to “Building Champions” is having outstanding facilities. Our athletics program is committed to building and maintaining the finest facilities in the country. The Foundation’s Major Gifts Group coordinates the fund-raising efforts for facility projects. These gifts may be pledged over a 5-year period. Contact the Major Gifts Group: Stu Starner, Travis Dabney, Brian Frerking or Jason Penry at 979-846-8892
Planned Giving: Through bequests, annuities and charitable trusts, donors can help secure the future of Aggie Athletics by naming the 12th Man Foundation as a beneficiary of an estate plan. Contact Brian Frerking, Planned Giving Officer at 979-260-7943.
Endowed Scholarships: Endowments enable the 12th Man Foundation to fund annual scholarships for Aggie student-athletes. Further, they also help to provide guaranteed funding source for a sports program. Endowment donors will enjoy the chance to create a lasting legacy that supports future generations of Aggie athletes. The 12th Man Foundation offers many endowment opportunities. Contact Travis Dabney, Associate Director of Major Giving Programs at 979-260-7579
Ways to make Major Gifts: Cash, matching gifts, appreciated securities, retirement accounts, real estate, charitable remainder trust, gift annuities, life insurance, planned gifts or bequests. |
