Ticket Sales Representative

This position provides front line support in all aspects of the ticket center operation. Specific duties include:

Answering and processing incoming calls to the Ticket Center. This includes providing ticket-related information, taking or updating ticket orders, and building or maintaining customer records.

Working a ticket office window during regular business hours. Duties include providing ticket-related information, taking or updating ticket orders, and building or maintaining customer records.

Working at Student Ticket Pull. Duties include issuing student football tickets or selling student sports options using the student ticketing system and related daily reconciliations.

Ticket Operations at Events. Duties vary but may include ticket window sales and support, processing student admissions to the event, distributing complimentary admissions, event set-up and close-out

This position must perform daily reconciliation and close-out reports. This includes preparing cash receipts or checks for deposit, generating appropriate system reports and confirming that all items are in balance.

This position is responsible for having up-to-date knowledge of ticket sales notes and other information necessary to perform various duties effectively.

Additional duties include:

Assisting with processing incoming mail to the Ticket Office

Entering ticket orders and payments

Preparing printed tickets for mailing and preparing general ticket mailings.

Updating customer ticket accounts

Maintaining neat and presentable workspace

Special projects as requested

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

High School Graduate or Equivalent. Prefer current undergraduate students.

Previous job experience (or comparable school experience)

Knowledge of basic customer service skills and ability to perform them.

Basic computer skills (keyboarding and word processing. Knowledge of Microsoft Office preferred)

Must be organized and able to handle multiple priorities at the same time.

Pleasant personality who enjoys helping people.

Must be able to work events including A&M football games and events held during evening hours, weekends and some holidays.

Must be able to work 15-25 hours weekly.

Required to work 90% of Aggie home football games and 30% of other Aggie ticketed events.

Must successfully complete initial training for this position and continue to complete successfully complete supplemental training programs.
